All seven words in the first verse are found in the first chapter at least once by various offsets greater than one both forward and backward. The first word with six characters starts at letter 1,315 at an offset of 94. There is only a 1 in 40 probability that this would occur by chance (the number of unique characters to the power of the number of letters in the word divided by the number of total letters squared) by any offset, 1 in 721 probability that it would occur in the first 100 offsets. When reversed, it is one in 43 for the first word and one in 20 for the third word. When adding the following letter to the end, it is on in 109 for the second word and 1 in 114 for the fourth word. 721 x 43 x 20 x 109 x 114 = 1 in 7e9. It should be noted that the author may have done this on purpose.       gench1.java       gench1.txt       gench1_output.txt
